I know that I haven’t been blogging much lately, so here’s a little update…

The kids are doing well. Here’s a sweet picture of Sammy taking care of his baby sister.

We got back from our trip to Oklahoma last week. Lori sent me back with these AMAZING cloth diaper covers from Japan. We LOVE them. Laci, if you’re reading this, let me know when you are back in Japan because I need at least ten more of these!!! haha

I’ve been taking a break from sewing (in the process of trying to sell my sewing machine and upgrading), but I’ve been busy for the last couple of days knitting my first wool soaker! I got this 100% cashmere yarn at the Hancock in Oklahoma on clearance for 70% off! I also have some pretty colors, like pink and baby blue, but I wanted to make sure that I was capable of completing the soaker before I used my good colors.

Mira likes them!

They’re so soft! And I haven’t even lanolized them yet!

Seriously Deb, if you’re at all interested in even the slightest profit (whether it be personally or philanthropic) you are so talented and easily do it through etsy.com. For your first time knitting you did an excellent job!! I know this is silly, but did you have to start over many times before you finally got it right? I know with crocheting if I don’t completely pay attention to every single stitch, I’ll end up overstitching one spot and understitching another…it’s such a pain!!

Deb, I’m so glad you like those diaper covers. We love them too:) I do have more also. What size are the ones that Lori gave you…the ones she’s wearing in the picture? Anyway, I am however jealous that you got that awesome diaper cover…we didn’t get to go to Hancocks! I’ll have to make Lori go shopping for me! LOVE LOVE LOVE all the wings you made the girls. They are beautiful.

Thanks, Laci.
I realized after the trial run with the Jackson girls, I need to make some durability adjustments on the wings.
haha
I don’t know what size I have. The only thing that I can read on the tag says 11kg and the number 80. Does that tell you anything?? I LOVE these covers. They work WONDERFULLY and they are super cute, too! Win win!
So when did you get back to Japan?
