Since Amira’s been born, it’s been a little difficult to find the time (and the energy) to do Alena’s hair.  I just wanted to give you a glimpse of what Alena’s hair looks like when I don’t do it…

Yikes …  Yeah, so this is what her hair has looked like for the past two weeks.  Sad, I know.  But, little by little, I got it done…

And it only took me three days to finish braiding it…ugh…

And 9 days old…

img_4541You all have no idea how excited this little boy is to have another baby sister. He has been constantly “teaching” Amira things, drawing her special pictures, and checking on her to make sure that she is doing well. Alena and Amira are so blessed to have this little man-in-training as a big brother.

Here she is!

Amira Lee Bryant, born at home on December 5, 2008 at 4:35am. She was 7 lbs and 19 1/2 inches long at birth. I’ll be posting her unassisted birth story soon!

This web site will be shut down immediately, so there will be no more messages and there will be no more posts to this site.. by order of the the husband.  (kidding)

Why? Because of the feminist movement, thats why.

The feminist movement has taken over the wife’s mind. TO HER the feminist movement is related to everything wrong in the world. I have been working for this family since its first seed of love was planted (Sam Bryant IV). She can some how explain to me the reason I work is because of the…. feminist movement. I sleep because of the…. feminist movement. I eat more now because of the…. feminist movement. The reason why I want a bigger house is because of the…. feminist movement. I can’t take it anymore, who ever or where ever the feminist movement is, please come to my house and explain to me why you are doing this to me!!!!!!!!!!!

Updated note from Lady in Training for all of you who are confused 🙂 : Yes, my husband wrote this post at around 1am this morning and I just thought it was too funny to take down. I was trying to explain to him why I blame the feminist movement for all of my flaws (haha) and how every time I do something right in our marriage it is because I am making a conscious effort to fight against the feminism that has been instilled in me from birth. This was his way of making fun of me. He’s a funny man. 🙂
