I am a child of God. He knit me together in my mother’s womb and set me apart (Psa. 139:13, Jer. 1:5). He provided for me a husband who would love, protect, honor, teach, and lead me into the arms of our Lord and Savior. Before he was my husband, when we were just kids, the Lord used him to bring me to repentence and welcome our Savior into my heart. After we were married, I deliberately continued in my disobedience (Heb. 10:26), but was later saved in childbearing (1 Tim. 2:15). The Lord opened my womb and gave me a son, and then later, a daughter. In this journey of motherhood, through my many mistakes and failures, God has remained faithful and has continued to guide and shape me into the woman He has called me to be. I have just recently begun to experience the freedom that is found in the truth (John 8:32). Thank you Jesus for your love and for your mercy. Without you I would be lost, but in you I have found my purpose for being. Your truth has, indeed, set me free.
